what’s the name?? TV show-80’s-Japanese?-gold costume-pointed helmet???
kinda like power rangers but just one guy. he would raise his hand to the UFO hovering above and calmly say “Ready” and change to this awesome, golden, fighting, japanese (i think) robot looking dude that would always save the day.
what was the show called??!? i wish and hope it will be available on DVD some day!!!!
thanks for the help but its not Ultraman, but its almost exactly like it. maybe a low budget copy. but the guy looks normal. then monsters come to fight. and there is this ufo that he talks to. then he raises his hand and says “Ready” and then transforms. the helmet is what i remember the most. he had slits for eyes. not bulgee bu eyes like Ultraman. and it came to a sorta point. and he had these things on his forearms like weapons. man…. that show was my favorite and i cant remember the name.

It sounds like one of the “Ultraman” shows
There were several versions of the show going all lthe way back to the ’60’s.
Usually Ultraman had silver and red outfits they later made some changes in later series including the gold coloring like you mention.
